Practical Pilates for Clinicians:
Improving Balance, Strength, and Kinesthetics

The Pilates Method of Exercise is a proven comprehensive approach to core strengthening which has become a valuable tool for an increasing number of clinical therapists in recent years.  As you learn and practice the six key principles of Pilates exercises during this one day seminar, you will gain practical experience in applying the Pilates Method in order to resolve the specific challenges facing your patients.  Learn how to make your therapy sessions more effective:  As your understanding of your clients’ movement deficits becomes more focused, you will see your patients’ kinesthetic awareness improve with each therapeutic intervention you introduce to them.  This is a practical, participatory, hands-on course.  Your Certified Authentic Pilates Instructor, Wendy Quitasol, provides extensive lab practice time, as well as clinical examples and specific case studies.  You will learn how to apply the Pilates method to a variety of patient diagnoses, and how to best document the therapy sessions for maximum reimbursement from insurance companies.  You will leave this course feeling energized, stronger and balanced, with a heightened awareness of your own body kinesthetics.
